Sour Grapes and Other Stories (2025)

Isolation. Paranoia. Madness.

Fans of Shirley Jackson will devour this debut collection of ten spine-tingling tales that reflect the fragmented and hyper-individualized conditions of a world rotting from the inside out. Psychological disturbances collide with body horror to create a terrifying and unsettlingly familiar sense of imbalance, like teetering at the edge of the void. In these stories, toxic positivity is turned literal, featuring a drink that grants your every desire; a woman attempts to make sense of her husband’s unreliable cultic stories; new motherhood in a man’s world generates dangerous anxieties; and a lonely person quietly comes to terms with the end of everything.

Written in arrestingly blunt prose, Sour Grapes and Other Stories is the perfectly horrific accompaniment to navigating a reality full of broken signifiers, post-truths, and the ever-present feeling of despair. Let the obsession overtake you.
